Hope Springs Eternal
Written by Beth Cassie
“Hope springs eternal.” For all of us, the first signs of spring stir hopefulness for something new. Here in the northeast, we are finally seeing signs of spring and it’s a welcome break from the long and hard winter we had.
For high school students this is particularly true. The school year is three-quarters done and the end is in sight. Seniors – savor this last quarter of high school. If you are making a final decision about where to attend college, be open to the possibilities that exist for you. Enjoy the celebrations ahead, and be proud of what you’ve accomplished.
Juniors – this can be one of the most stressful times in your high school career. SATs and ACTS, AP exams, papers and finals all come to a crescendo this quarter. Do your best to stay focused and finish the year on a high note. Put extra effort in your classes and you’ll reap the benefits.
For those of you who are on spring break this week – relax, renew, rejuvenate. Return to school ready to take on the final push. Hope springs eternal.
