University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University.

Beth Cassie recently toured various schools in Pennsylvania, including the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University.  She reported her findings on the College Bound Mentor College Visit website.

The University of Pittsburgh is a great school for students who want an urban college experience. Similar in layout to Boston University, more concentrated than NYU, Pitt is a great place for students –  especially those who are interested in the medical or technology fields.

Beth spent two days at Penn State. There are many stand out programs at Penn State and a broad range of opportunities for students with varied interests. Happy Valley is indeed a happy place and Penn State is a must visit for students who want big school spirit in a more rural, small town setting.
