I want clients to feel seen and heard. They all have a story to tell, and I am passionate about helping them find the college where their story can continue to evolve. In over a decade of teaching, I was relentless with my efforts to instill confidence in my students and help them discover their gifts. My goal for them was to feel challenged and empowered, which is what I want to accomplish during this college application process: my hope is that students will leave our time together knowing more about who they are and what they want.
Although our identities are ever changing, here are some that are at my core: wife, mother, daughter, oldest sister, loyal friend, College Bound Mentor, English teacher, varsity tennis coach, lifelong tennis player, amateur poet, avid reader, food enthusiast, novice improv comedian, occasional guitar and ukelele player, theater lover, and contagious laugher. I share this with you because as in the college process, we decide which parts of us we share and what interests we find most compelling. All of them are significant, and at the right college, will all be appreciated.
Collaboration is essential to how I approach any endeavor. We are a team. I will help students and parents navigate this process with trust and transparency. We are all multifaceted, and it can take time to find a community where we can best contribute and flourish. I look forward to helping you find that home.
What’s the next chapter of your story? Let’s figure it out.
